CURRENT RESEARCH INTERESTS:
His current research interests are Human-Robot and Human-Computer Interfaces. He is focused on Brain Computer Interfaces (BCI) (non-invasive brain interfaces) and Multimodal Human-Robot Interfaces (integrating brain, ocular and haptic information).

AWARDS

  • First award to the best paper on the conference «2013 IEEE International Systems Conference» held in Orlando (Florida), United States. Paper title: Mental Tasks Selection Method for a SVM-Based BCI System. Authors: Eduardo Iáñez, Andrés Úbeda, Enrique Hortal, José María Azorín.
  • Second award to the best Doctoral Thesis about Robotics of 2012 granted by the Automatic Spanish Committee in the XXXIV Jornadas de Automática held in Terrassa, Barcelona (2013).
