José M. Azorín, professor of the Department of Systems and Automation Engineering of Miguel Hernández University of Elche and director of the Brain-Machine Interface Systems Lab, was designated as the new coordinator of the Bioengineering Group of the Spanish Committe of Automation (SCA) at the Extraordinary General Assembly of SCA that was held at the Complutense University of Madrid.
The Spanish Committee of Automation is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1968 that aims to work as a forum and provide the framework for the development of automatization in our country. In addition, the Bioengineering Group of the Spanish Committe of Automation aims to unite the efforts of different groups and Spanish centers devoted to research and development in the field of bioengineering.
