Carlo Cavaliere – Postdoc |
Carlo Cavaliere is a postdoc researcher at the Brain-Machine Interface Systems Lab at Miguel Hernández University of Elche. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering (2013) from Polytechnic University of Catalonia, followed by a Master also in Biomedical Engineering (2015) by the University of Barcelona and the PolyTechnic University of Catalonia. In 2022 he completed his PhD as part of the Biomedical Engineering Group (GIB) of the University of Alcalá (UAH) in the use of machine learning techniques for the diagnosis of neurodegenerative diseases from medical images. He has also worked with other research groups in the field, most notably Bioart (UPC, Barcelona) and B2Slab (UPC, Barcelona). His research interests lie in transferring research related to biomedical data and processing, especially related to brain signals, into practical applications and products. |
