Yash Bhambhani – PhD student

Yash Bhambhani is currently pursuing a PhD at the Brain-Machine Interface Systems Lab at Miguel Hernández University in Elche, Spain. His research is part of the European Doctoral Network for Neural Prosthesis and Brain Research (DONUT) consortium (DC7). The primary objective of his project is to develop brain-machine interfaces (BMIs) based on motor imagery for controlling lower-limb exoskeletons, while also leveraging deep learning techniques to enhance user adaptation. Yash holds master’s degrees in Biomedical Engineering from Columbia University (2023) and Robotics from the University of Technology Sydney (2021)
